SAVE is a student nucleus which stands for " Students Against Violation & Exploitation" initially started in July 2005 by Prof. Avkash Jadhav (Dept. of History) and a group of enthusiatic students from different disciplines at St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. Unfortunalely due to students passing out of college & few other reasons it couldn't survive in its true spirit & hence got fizzed out.Though it wasn't existing in practicality but it was very much there in the core of Prof. Avkash and again on 21st June 2008 it was revived in its original spirit with the
help of other enthusiastic students. The purpose & aim of SAVE is to create awareness among students and prepare them to be a responsible and accountable citizens. SAVE conducts activities in different spheres like social service, citizen activism, utility oriented workshops and much more.
